Overview
The all-new 2012 Audi A6 sedan seeks to redefine its class with refined styling, enhanced interior space, a lighter curb weight and a slew of new technological features. It is lighter, faster and more efficient than previous models exemplifying the progressive executive sedan. It is available in 3.0T Premium, 3.0T Premium Plus, 3.0 Prestige, 2.0T Premium and 2.0T Premium Plus trims.
Powertrain And Performance
The 3.0T TFSI V6 engine rated at 310 hp and 325 lb ft of torque delivers 19/28/22 city/highway/combined mpg while the Audi 2.0 liter turbocharged DOHC engine yields 25/33/28 mpg. The former touches the 60 mph mark in 5.3 seconds from zero and the latter reaches it in 7.5 seconds. The eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission teams with Quattro all-wheel drive.
Build And Styling
Audi A6 stands for athletism and elegance with LED taillights and dual branch exhaust pipes. This ace sedan's body is made of lightweight aluminum components with sportiest proportions. The interior is highly spacious with great attention to detail. An efficient deluxe automatic air conditioning system, four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, leather-wrapped shift knob, leather seats, sunroof and the MMI radio advanced control system are standard. The MMI navigation plus system with MMI touch is as an option.

Audi has equipped the A6 with all modern safety technologies including driver and front passenger head airbag* system (SRS), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-pressure Distribution (EBD) and brake assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren (LATCH) in rear seat.
